170 - burgos.

Taking into account that I've exploring other countries quite a lot during the last few years, I have to say that it feels kind of nice to travel around my own one. Spain is beautiful and we should never forget that. There are many many different places to visit! So, taking every little opportunity I have to make road trips around Spain may be one of my new goals in life.

169 - monasterio de yuso.

"The monasteries of San Millán de Suso (6th century) and San Millán de Yuso (11th century) are two monasteries situated in the village of San Millán de la Cogolla, La Rioja, Spain... Perhaps Suso's major claim to fame is as the place where phrases in the Spanish and Basque languages were written for the first time."

We didn't spend more than 15 minutes here as we decided not to enter. Worth visiting it though (even if you don't go inside).

168 - san millán de la cogolla.

Last week was a complete disaster and I didn't have a single moment to upload more pictures. I took these ones in San Millán de la Cogolla and they are my favorites. The morning light makes them look so good.

More to come tomorrow : )

167 - laguardia, álava.

Hey there!

On Saturday, I visited a little village in Álava, called Laguardia. The place lies over a hill and it is surrounded by a huge stone wall. It was a beautiful place.

Pictures aren't too good though, I didn't spend much time with the camera to be honest. I still wanted to share them here.

The weather in Spain is being incredibly good (taking into account we are in mid November). We spent a sunny, warm afternoon in Laguardia and then we set off to visit more little villages.

166 - wine experience in la rioja.

One of the best things about La Rioja is of course, wine. Even if you are not a wine lover (not my case, lol), you have to visit some wine cellars and of course try different varieties.

To be honest, the experience was pretty snobby, but I have improved my wine knowledge quite a lot.

If you don't like alcohol, visiting the vineyards in autumn time is always a good option. You cannot miss the endless red, brown and orange fields.

I ended up being a little wasted, but it was fun-fun-fun!

165 - la rioja.

Hi there!

It's Monday again and I wanted to make a super quick update to show you three pictures from this past weekend (more to come soon).

I went up north Spain for two days and discovered La Rioja for the first time. It was surprisingly beautiful. Such a good autumn trip, I would recommend it to everyone.

It felt so nice to escape from Madrid and forget about everything.

I will upload more pictures in the next entries. Stay tunned and see-u later!

164 - same old, same old.

Have such a good weekend full of petit committee celebrations. Dinner with the girls, little trip to Toledo, drinks with the gang and tea party with the family. Perfect amount of presents and lots of sweet bday wishes and kind gestures.

Therefore, to everyone that has crossed my path and has contributed to make my life better in any kind of possible way, be sure to meet me again during the next 25 years.

163 - 25 and fabulous!

Hey! Now you are speaking with a 25 years old girl. Feeling exactly the same way indeed. And sure I have a couple of plans for the big day, but I will tell you more about that later (there is always a little room for improvisation).

Not feeling like big celebrations or meaningless bday wishes from people I don't even care about, though. But of course friends and family will be there for and that's always helpful : )

Maybe I will share some thoughts and snapshots soon, and I will tell you about my next weekend trip in the following entry.

See you later alligators!

162 - autumn fun.

I'm working on having a really good social life lately. Saying yes to every plan and not worrying much about anything. Here you have some pictures about last weekend in my village and some other random snapshots from my phone. I took the big camera with me, but didn't take any picture at all. I guess I was too busy drinking wine and playing board games. Have I said that I actually luuuuv autumn yet? C-ya soon!
